my independent reading book is starting off really well although i cant give a universal theme yet since my book is based on lots of short stories about different kids and different sports and they each in every story have different backgrounds but still are able to have some things in common maybe its nothing big maybe its something very little that connects them but they do have lot in common and i also have somewhat in common with both short stories Ive read so farto have a determination drive to not want to be a runner up but be a champion to experience accomplishment and not think i wish i could be or why cant i be like so i do have connections with the book.
a quote form the book is "that boy that ran past the house everyday was a champion. he would know what seperates winners from perpetual runner-ups. and if peter could learn that well then and if his mothers happy then that means she will say yes"

ultimate sports

this is a god book and i can relate to it because peter really love playing piano but then it became a job and he was pushe to keep on playing everyday for an hour or two it came to the point where playing a piano was the worst part of his day and he wanted to join sports cause he sees a runner Kevin running and he sees a champion in him not a runner up i can relate to peter because i used to love basketball i had to play it but then people started to expect to much of me and i lost the dedication to play for fun and it just became a chore something i had to do not what i wanted to do

independent reading book

i am reading about hoop dreams it is in a good perspective of the kid that is getting recruited and telling us about his life and how he plays were he lives and is a really cool documentary especially since i know how the main characters feel and how they have passion for the great sport basket ball although i may not know how it feels to be committed like they are but its a good book.i also think that its really cool in the book that the kid got discovered and is going to play in his heros highschool and live up to the reputation at mashall highschool.but it is cool since i was in my highschool basketball team and gonna be able to connect yeeeessssssssssssss

hoop dreams

i started reading hoop dreams today and i like it already it connects to my surrounding on basketball and i can feel and know what there talking about when he does a specific move and when hes using his strength and powering to the court its really cool on how they use it i cant wait to read a basketball game i hope when i read it i can image how there playing and see the game in my head

life of pi

it started off real slow but where i am reading at know is actually really intense and getting me at the edge i have so much wondering just like pi does and i want to hurry up and find out if he was the only one to survive the boat crash and if the coyote decides to eat attack him like how he did to the injured zebra and the tuna or orange but right know its really good and very intense hope it stays like this through out the book

book talk

the book talk was very nerve racking and hard to go through but when you were actually used to it the words just flew out and it got less tense and i was able to answer all of the questions and did my expectations so i think that the book talk overall was good and i did what i could hopefully it was good enough.

where the red fern grows

finish it very intense, it will get you teary eye i did and this was my second time reading it and i think its the top 3 books Ive read in my life its great and i strongly recomend it i give it a 5 out of 5

where the red fern grows is one of the best books ive read in while it is very anticipating your wondering whats going to happen next or is he going to get this . i strongly recommend this book to dog lovers and if you do not want to hear about other things dieing like raccoons then this is not the book for you but i like this book because it shows how much a kid loves his dogs and how bad he wants one. i agree with every decision that he makes by going out and getting his dogs instead of waiting for them, cutting down the biggest trees so the dogs can get that coon so i think the main character loves his dogs aand will do anything to make sure that they stay alive

Demon bound

demon bound is a book that im just barley reading and getting into so far its ok but im hoping it gets a bit better towards the middle adding action in to it ive read about 2 chaps so far so i cant come to any conclusions of the book but i'll keep you posted on how the book is but what its about is jack winter gave his soul a demon and in return he gets some sort of phycic power but his time is up and there going to come for his soul

captain america:reborn series 1-5

this series is a great story of what happens after the death of Steve original captain America and red skull try to make a machine that catches him in his time sand going back and if he controls him they have a great advantage over the old and new avengers this comic was great and I'm hoping that they will continue it by adding an extra one instead of ending it at 5 and if you are a big captain America fan and are scared that it might ruin the story of the original captain America but don't worry it doesn't it is great carry on and cool story.

after raptor red what she would do

i predict that raptor red would have been accomplished in her hunts with her new pack that contains her mate and chicks and her sisters daughter, mate and chicks they would make it and continue to add on by mating every few years becoming one of the strongest utah raptor pack with lots of children and there children would continue on there legacy by mating themselves and there family would just keep growing until the age of the dinosaur is over. So raptor Red would have accomplished what it took her so long to do

Maniac Magee

yes i read it for the third time it is an excellent book it is one of my top 2 other is code talker maniac magee is about a kid that lost his parents in a car crash and was forced to live with his grandparents that were going through bad times and always arguing so finally maniac magee ran away and visited lots of areas were he meet new people that liked him but not all did not Mars Bars a leader of a crew and i dont want to ruin the rest for you though so i recommend this book to all people its a great book

code talker

code talker is a very interesting and it is about the Navajo i recommended this book to anybody that likes a good authentic war story that is about how they used the Navajo after the attack of pearl harbor and they used the Navajo language so the enemies wont know what there saying, so they got the Navajo since they were kids and taught them English. If they were caught speaking Navajo while they were being held in the English class they would get in trouble and sooner or later if they passed all requirements they would be moved to a special class only some people knew about coldtalker. overall this book is a great story and i recomend it to all those war lovers and historical finders this is a great book.

is odysseus a hero to me

ways odysseus is a hero to me is in very little ways he was a strong man that was able to defeat some gods and a great fighter and was able to break away from great battles against many gods with out one scratch but what i don't see as a hero in him was his men all died because of him he wanted to stay in areas infested with cyclopes to see one and he did not go alone he told his greatest fighters to come along to me a hero is not one to risk others lives but a hero is someone that would throw themselves in danger to save a person even if they have no clue who they are and odysseus didn't do that it was mostly only about his decisions so i don't consider him much of a hero but he did have some heroic moments
